Titan Rising Online: World Breaker

Chapter 301 301: The New Horror On The Seas

"Alright the way we are going to play this is fairly simple. As long as you all surrender, then I don\'t have to rip your spines out of your backs and then grill you guys afterwards. Though I would like for you guys to do such as I\'ve been wondering what man shaped fishes taste like since we\'ve met."

There were quite a few of them that were more than willing to take Cole\'s deal. The guy was crazy to say the least and his power was on a whole other level. Some people valued their lives, while others felt their lives would be worth nothing if they have to spend it within a jail cell.

Plus Cole was looking as if he had a foot in the grave, while they couldn\'t see his full face, he was bloody enough that a couple of them got the idea that Cole was on his last legs. And even if he wasn\'t, they all had to try and do something or they will never see the light of day again, much more so now that they had carried out a mutiny, hijacked a prison/transport ship, and committed cannibalism.

If Cole was judge then he would be locking them in somewhere dark, and wet, particularly with an prison block that had dudes with a peculiar love for sushi. Then Cole would throw away the key. But far be it for him to against a successful enterprise, piracy could be its own fun you know. He shook his head as three of the pirates rushed him, which was just as good for him, he was running low on energy anyways,

Cole ducked under a harpoon shot and turned with his momentum to smash the hilt of his sword into the sternum of the  fish-man. Cole felt bones break, but he ignored it as he left the fish-man to keel over in pain, while he swiped his sword to the left, parrying a harpoon thrust to the face.

The parry carried a lot more force as the fish-man was turned to the side and Cole stepped forwards, ramming his sword into the man all the way to the hilt. The fish-man let out a squawk as bloody bubbles escaped from his mouth and gills, Cole let him fall to the side as he turned to the final person and used his hand to catch the harpoon heading for his face.

There was no moving as he caught the weapon, his palm was not even scratched by it, as Cole used the weapon to Drag the fish-man closer. He wrapped his left hand around his throat and squeezed a bit, raising the man into the air as he immediately utilized [Sin Eater].

The result was almost instantaneous.  The fishman\'s skin desiccated rapidly, as he sh4iveled up until all that was left were bones, and then finally dust that was then blown away into the wind. Cole was the very definition of danger, and this last death was enough to put any doubts about his state of being to rest.

Cole pulled out Black Malakai and sheathed the blade, keeping it close to him self in case anyone of these fools seem to develop any more funny ideas. The fish-man that had his sternum shattered and was slowly dying looked up at Cole, stretching out his hands to grab Cole\'s leg.

Cole did not even slow down as he passed the pirate, using [Sin Eater] and leaving just dust in is wake. From then on it was a small matter to find someone to release the captain and the rest of their captives. Some of the fish-men used that opportunity to jump into the sea in a bid to escape, the others which consisted pretty much of non-aquatic races, were stuck where they were.

The people who had been set free, set on the pirates. It took a lot of intervention from the captain before the pirates were left alone, tough this time it was with a few extra bruises and broken bones…. three of them even died. It wasn\'t too long after that, Cole found out that there was a reward being paid for each prisoner that was being transported, the Captain did not want his goods damaged.

Cole was given a room to himself to clean up. Which was a good thing, his armor was soaked through and through. And it had a little damage, Cole sighed. At this stage in the game he had to look to replacing it. Going around looking like an emo cowboy gunslinger ninja from hell has been fun but, the playing field has changed, he needs an upgrade.

But that would be until he gets to a town or something, or if he is lucky to get equipment from anyone of the gold rank prisms he had left. But that was like looking for a needle in a haystack. The bronze rank gave you a 50% chance, the iron was a 25% and the silver was 10% chance of getting equipment from prisms. It\'s  not too hard to tell how abysmal the chances were for a Gold rank prism.

Besides he really did not want to change this armor, the skill attached to it were something special, taking camouflage and stealth to a whole other level. But never the less perhaps there was hope, one of the quest rewards on the 5th floor was offering something called an Alchemical evolution stone.

Back before when this was all just a game, that was one of the top 10 most expensive items within the game, sitting at an impressive number 2! it could combine multiple items of the gold rank to create a brand new equipment that\'s most definitely going to be a growth equipment and would be in the diamond rank too.

So if Cole could just be a little bit patient and see all of the drama this floor was sure to bring on his head to the end, then he would be able to solve his armor problem….. he just had to make sure not to die before then. And given how it seems there were people of his power running about and his penchant for attracting trouble….Cole was not sure he could keep that promise.
